Buying Reels views is a common practice among brands looking to get more visibility on Instagram Reels. However, there are a few things you must consider first. To start, you should assess if your return on investment brings more interested consumers to your business

One obvious answer to that question is no. The way consumers interact with your Reels is less important than identifying your ideal customer and determining if they take the actions you want them to take.

You should also make sure you're complying with terms of services. If you have the budget and it makes strategic sense, then go for it.

What are the Most Important Considerations When Purchasing Instagram Reels Views to Promote a New Brand?

You can't build a business with Reels views as your base. Displayed counts can easily be swayed, and that doesn't guarantee you're building relationships with your audience.

The difference is clear. Artificial engagement alters a popularity signal. Sponsored posts are Instagram’s paid advertising. Altering a popularity signal, and sponsored posts, both create evidence, but differ in other ways.

While your decision should be informed by multiple considerations, few are as important as the quality of audience engagement and the impact that sponsored posts and advertising campaign elements create. Poorly targeted advertising is of little to no value.

The same idea applies to user feedback. Positive user feedback related to your product is far more valuable than user feedback that reflects a weak or average overall engagement with your posted content.

Be deliberate. Define the desired outcome. Without a defined outcome, guess what you’ll be doing? Measuring the worth of your advertising dollars by the number of Instagram Reels views you paid to increase.

What You Should Expect From Purchased Views for Your Business

Purchased views offered by Royalfollowers can increase the view count on a Reel. Founders may purchase these views to help combat low view counts, which they believe may cause people to overlook their business.

While increased view counts may bring a sense of validation, this in itself will not validate your business. Potential customers will look into your business’s product offerings, comments, and other resources.

Additionally, just because a view is counted, it doesn't mean the viewer understood your business offer, or remembered your business after. It also doesn't mean the content helped reach someone who is interested enough to make a purchase.

Furthermore, there are different package deals available. Just because a service promises a certain number of views, it doesn't mean the result will be a given every time.

There are other factors at play that can affect the result of a purchased service, and a given service may not always deliver the result you want.

The examples above illustrate some of the risks of using recommendation services. The costs associated with these services may always be low, but they may not always give you valid information pertaining to your business.

 Understanding Instagram’s Terms of Service

As of August 11, 2025, the Terms of Service pertaining to inauthentic activity on Instagram were updated to state “we remove the content that artificially boosts the popularity of that content”.

This provides further language to support the case that artificially increasing interaction rates for a post is not advisable.

While a company is able to boost the number of interactions a post receives, this doesn’t guarantee the post adheres to Instagram’s Terms of Service.

The wording of the policy doesn't show that all sellers utilize the same methods to create artificial popularity. Moreover, just because a seller is authorized to distribute your content doesn’t mean they will generate organic popularity for your content.

Meta has said its enforcement approach is "remove, reduce and inform." In its enforcement guidance, it says it removes the content that violates its policies when it identifies it.

It does not show that all purchased views will be detected and removed. Likewise, it does not show that all viewers will be banned or shadowbanned or lose recommendation eligibility.

It does not expand beyond policy concerns to show that artificially generated views will be recommended or will help Instagram algorithm determine relevance and recommend the content.

Choose Between Real World Consequences of Purchasing Instagram Views and Instagram Ads

There are consequences to boosting Instagram Reels. According to Meta’s documentation, boosting alters an Instagram Reel to an advertisement. Boosted Reels can be found in the Reels tab, Explore, Feed, and Stories.

To convert a Reel to an advertisement, you have to define an objective, estimate an audience, and set a budget. Once the definition is complete and the advertisement is approved, it runs like any other advertisement.

There are stipulations Meta communicates about the contents of eligible Reels to be boosted. These include, but may not be limited to, Reel length, video orientation, Reel contents, and Reel interactions. These modify and constrain the Reels eligible to be boosted.

Reels can be placed through a variety of strategies including the Advantage+ strategy and placements selected by the sponsor.

When placing a sponsored Reels campaign, the objective should reflect the real-world effect being pursued. Objectives related to the first level of the funnel (Awareness) can be reflected with sponsored Reels campaigns. Objectives related to the lower funnel (e.g. Leads, Sales) may require a Reels campaign with sponsored ads.

Purchased view totals can't give insight into the effect of a sponsored campaign like Instagram Ads. However, sponsored Instagram Ads can be targeted and adjusted based on the audience and sponsor's creative judgement. This allows the sponsor to recoup the costs if the campaign flops.

Check These More Meaningful Signals Rather than a View Count

Instagram Insights may provide additional information and context as to the performance of a sponsorship, but not always. Other signals may include the type of interaction, audience activity, or the number of accounts reached. It may be helpful to analyze these signals to gauge the performance of a sponsorship, rather than relying on a single metric (e.g. view count).

Do not interpret views as the total number of unique users who watched your Reel.

Some interactions are more meaningful than others. Interactions such as comments asking about the availability of a product show higher relevance and interest than a random comment which may contain emojis.

Not all comments reflect high levels of interest or demand. You should use your judgement and consider if the comment is directed towards clarifying a specific aspect of your business, e.g. the product, or your Reel.

You should note if a user has visited your profile or if they followed your account. You should also note if the user engaged with your Reel.

For campaign experiments, you should encourage users to click the campaign Reels you have posted and tagged. You should monitor campaign Reels for views and user activity. Campaign Reels should incentivize users to engage and take a specific action, e.g. purchase a product.

You should also encourage users to visit your website to sign up for your service. Once users have engaged with your Reel and visited your website, the website should facilitate the sale of your product or service. You should also incorporate a time delay to the customer attribution window, e.g. 30 days.

There are reasons to believe that a customer may interact with your business through multiple channels. Each Reel should contain a unique and distinct campaign URL.

Notice Warnings Before Paying for Views

When first launching your business, you often don’t have the resources to recover from an account security breach. You need to know your audience and make sure your service complies with the policies in your industry. You often can’t verify any of these things from a persuasive sales presentation.

You have to be cautious with the following:

· Guaranteed results often lead to an unverifiable view count.

· If a service is unwilling or unable to disclose how they accomplish their goal, there's no way to know what you're paying for.

· A service asking for your Instagram account information or two-step verification is a clear security risk.

· Sales teams pushing you to purchase larger, more expensive packages indicate the service has little to no confidence in their product.

· Always protect your account information. A service claiming they need your account info to achieve a certain end is not a good enough reason to give them your information.

It’s also important to identify your true audience. A service may promise a large view count, but these views may not be related to your product or service and may not help you achieve your end goal.

A service can’t guarantee a specific end result and guarantee they’ll maintain a certain view count for your post.

Money spent with a service that promises views can’t help you achieve your goal or determine who to invest your money in next.

Build Reels Momentum with Real Viewers

The first few seconds are the most important. You can quickly show a product showing off a feature or feature showing a problem your product solves. You can also use this time to state what your product is or does. The most important part is delivering on what you promise to show or say at the beginning.

If you're consistent with your posts, you can learn what interests your audience. You can see what leads your audience to purchase your product.

You can have a Reel lead to an end goal. The Reel can demonstrate a feature of your product. Another example could be a Reel announcing the launch of your product and leading to viewers signing up for the waitlist. Setting goals for your Reels helps you see what works best.

Asking for comments on Reels can lead to answers to product questions. This can help a potential customer decide to purchase your product. Reels demonstrating a product feature can help answer a question and ultimately lead to a potential customer to purchase your product.

You can also partner with other creators who have an audience that would be interested in your product. Find someone who has an audience aligned with your product. When working with your potential partners, find what product demonstrations give the audience the most qualified purchase intent.

You can always boost your most relevant product posts and see what gives you the best return for your ad spend.

Conclusion: Judge Your Launch by Real Response

An large audience may make your first Reel look popular, but how many of those users are potential clients? Relevant feedback is more useful when making decisions on launches.

Keep your client trust and account security by following Instagram's rules and using promoted posts to reach if you need to extended your posts beyond Instagram. Spend money on advertising that helps you better measure what type of content helps you reach your clients.

Useful data about your audience is waiting to be discovered when you post your first Reels.
